While the storm is still visible on the right, the sun illuminated the unbelievably beautiful formations of Bryce. Though it's called a canyon, Bryce is really an amphitheatre. Those upright towering rock spires are called hoodoos. The Navajo Loop hike walked right through the middle of them.
