So here's a disadvantage of the stone cairn trail marker system. Some jerks had created fake trail markers to lead up the hill from the Double O arch, to a very interesting set of rock formations, bounded by delicate soil. As we search for signs of the next part of the trail we came to the conclusion that we weren't supposed to be here, so we headed back the way we came and eventually found an old fashioned sign that showed us the way to the next landmark.
