Cairo: Ibn Tulun Mosque

The first stop was the Ibn Tulun Mosque. One of the oldest mosques in the country, it was built 876-879AD making it more than 1100 years old. Unlike most of Morocco, non-Muslims are welcome to visit mosques in Egypt.

This arcade is covered giving shade to worshippers.
