Connected to the colonnade is the Court of Amenhotep III which is bordered by two rows of papyrus columns. In 1989 a team assembled to discover the causes of some tilting columns, by chance, came across a cache of 22 New Kingdom statues in excellent condition. Many are on display in the Luxor Museum nearby. Definitely worth a visit.
