Unfortunately, even though this temple is in wonderful condition, it was the victim of religious violence so many of the depictions of gods and goddesses have been defaced. Without this vandalism, the temple would have been almost perfectly preserved.

The goddess engraved on the column capitals is that of Hathor, goddess of love, motherhood and pleasure. Her animal aspect is the cow which explains the unusual shape of her ears here.
