At the end of our day we were given a little free time to explore one
of the streets in the French built part of town. Some of the group
chose to sit at a cafe or buy some fruit. My brother and I sat by the
side of the road and watched the world go by. It wasn't too long before
more people tried to sell us stuff, kids this time. My favourite
French phrase, "Pas pour moi merci" (not for me thanks), came in handy
wherever we went.
