Again it was time for the sales pitch. Our representative potter extoled the virtues of his co-operative's quality. He took one of these dishes and scraped the glaze with a coin to prove that it wouldn't scratch. He then proceeded to stand on it to prove that it was strong enough to survive rough treatment.

This blue colour you see here is the traditional glaze of Fes.
