All except one of the sake you see here (and in the previous photo)
are not exported from Japan. Furthermore, one of the Daiginjou here
was a Junmai (no brewer's alcohol added during fermentation) and not
pasteurised (Nama-Zake). It's impossible to taste a Japanese nama-zake
in the United States since import regulations require that alcohol be
pasteurised. This was a rare treat for me. By the way, the Junmai
Daiginjou Nama-Zake was fantastic.
