Sakura no Sho 桜の抄: Kaiseki 懐石

The shell in which my shrimp salad was served is made from Bamboo shoots (Take no Ko 竹の子). The broccoli and shrimp are easily visible, as is the sakura shaped slice of Daikon 大根. Presentation is very important for these meals.
