Kagawa-ken 香川県: Takamatsu 高松

Takamatsu 高松 was the first town where I planned to stop on my Shikoku trip. Previously known as Sanuki 讃岐 this region is famous for its sanuki udon うどん a stiffer version of the Japanese staple. Thanks to some friends, I had a few leads on some tasty places to eat here, but the combination of my car's crappy GPS (It didn't know anything of the highway I'd taken and I'd missed the city's main turn off), the narrow streets and my encroaching tiredness made me less than committed to finding any of them.
