Pueblo del Arroyo: Tri-wall Structure

This tri-wall structure is common to ruins to the north but very rare in Chaco. Finding it in Chaco indicates the exchange of ideas between the different cultures. As in the case of other ruins, the function of tri-wall structures is unknown, however, the interior chamber often contains features indicative of a kiva. Paradoxically this is not the case in this structure.
