Other patterns have been discovered that link the buildings within the canyons to other outlying buildings built by the Chacoans.

From Peñasco Blanco the Lunar Major Standstill rising and setting of the moon points to Kin Bineola (~15km distant) and Una Vida (~57km distant) respectively.

From Chetro Ketl the Lunar Minor Standstill rising and setting of the moon points to Kin Bineola (~18km distant) and Pueblo Pintado (~27km distant).

From the Pueblo Alto complex there's a line due north to another outlying building called Aztec over 100km distant.

These relationships are also within 3 degrees of their accepted modern measurements.
