Accoring to the lonely planet, ten minutes hike from Shishamonai on the shore of the lake, was a mossy gorge. Unfortunately on completion of the hike I found that it was now closed to visitors due to its scientific importance. However, two Japanese visitors to the site I'd met along the way, happily jumped the fence. I followed suit and made sure not to touch anything.
