I'd thought of this, however. Enter the magic of GPS. In Japan these
devices are far more popular than they are in the states. After 90
seconds of instruction, I felt I had a handle on how the thing
worked. Entering an address in Japanese was much easier than I thought
it would be. Monkeying around with the thing later, led me to discover
that I could skip most of that nonsence and just enter a destination
telephone number, it would figure out the address from that and plot
my course. Bloody brilliant. That cute little house next to the flag
is where I would return my car in a week.
