Cairo: Khan al-Khalili Bazaar

After a relaxing drink at a cafe (the drink you see here is made from Hibiscus), we went to visit the Egyptian Museum.

Unfortunately, I was prohibited from taking any photos from inside. However, if you do wish to see some of what is inside, flickr has plenty of photos from those who were more successful at penetrating their security.

Of note is the incredible treasure found in Tutankhamun's tomb. Truly it is beyond belief. The craftsmanship is without peer. One can only imagine the treasure of the larger tombs we'd see in Luxor, all of which were robbed in antiquity.
